Clio 172 Project

Picked up a brand new set of 6000k HIDs from a lad on ClioSport that bought them but never got round to fitting them, bargain.

Piece of piss to fit, sadly no pictures as my Dad was “helping” lol.

1. Remove front bumper
2. Remove headlights
3. Find a suitable place for the ballasts (under the headlights)
4. Remove the dipped beam bulb and holder
5. Plug everything in as instructed
6. Fit HID in place of dipped beam
7. Test
8. Rinse and repeat on the other side
9. Refit headlights
10. Refit front bumper
11. Stand back and admire you handy work

All in all it took “us” about 40 minutes all in to do.  Well worth doing IMHO as the standard lights on a Ph1 fucking suck.  SRSLY you would get more light holding a candle in front of the car.  With the HIDs in the amount of light cast in majorly increased so driving at night on unlit roads is no longer a terrifying experience lol.
